Sunday Justin and I headed over to Yeongdo Island to check out Taejongdae park. Don't let me fool you the island is just a short bus ride over a bridge. Taejongdae park was beautiful, we spent a few hours checking out the views and the lighthouse. What cracks me up are these crazy girls that go hiking in there 3+ heels. I must have witnessed 5-10 (almost) twisted ankles! Fashion is everything around here! I am so happy to be rockin my Dansko's, I am telling you, they are like walking on a cloud! Here are some pics from our day.
The park is along the ocean cliffs.
Outdoor gym in the park.
Women trying to get us to come eat at their restaurants.
Pretty cool, you can eat fresh raw seafood down on the cliffs. There were many women hard at work chopping up fish. You can sit on these blankets and enjoy the view! Raw seafood is not really my thing but it was a neat environment! We ended our day at a Vietnamese restaurant and had a delicious meal. We were craving a cuisine other than Korean, or I should say I was :)
