Christmas in Korea

Justin and I volunteered at Sebitt orphanage in Busan on Christmas day. ATEK, a volunteer organization in Korea put the event together. They put together "Santa's Workshop" for the kids. There were 7 different stations with activities for the kids to do. I think they all had a really great time!
Justin getting Rudolph ready!
They made the second Santa take his beard off so the kids would not be confused! Ha!
Face painting station!
Afua and her first victim! Just kidding, she was great!

Santa making his grand entrance!
All the volunteers donated presents for the kids, there must have been over 200 presents for 50 kids! So cool! :)
Santa photos!
She wanted nothing to do with Santa's lap but standing is just as good!
This little guy was very curious about Santa. For awhile he just starred at him.
Here she is with her face painted for the first time!
Decorating the Christmas tree!

Justin was in charge of taking Santa photos with the polaroid camera. The kids loved getting to keep their photo. Santa would even sign it for them! :)
At local baker baked and donated all these cookies for the kids to decorate. They loved it!

Afua getting advanced with her face painting skills.
Decorating Santa hat station!
Cookies decorating station!
We decided we should have taken her home! She was such a doll, with her face painted for the second time.
We ended up going to Costco after volunteering since we were on that side of town. Everything in Busan was open as usual. We had pizza and hotdogs for our Christmas lunch!
We were shopping in Costco with our Santa hats and our faces painted. We got a lot of looks! I painted that lovely snowman on Justin!
One more pic of our tree. We will leave it up until we leave since we will donate it to the next EPIK teacher!
