Jinhae Cherry Blossom Festival

The cherry blossoms have burst into bloom, so Justin and I headed to Jinhae (about an hour bus ride from Busan) to check them out with a group of other people from Busan, The Jinhae cherry blossom festival is the most famous cherry blossom festival in Korea. We boarded a very crowded bus that had standing room only! I decided to take a seat on the floor, turns out I must have been right over the engine because the floor was so hot I thought I was going to burn a hole through my jeans. Before hitting the blossoms, we grabbed a bit to eat at Pig Mania!

Grilling up pork ribs!

The blossoms were beautiful, but hard to capture because of the gray sky!
The gang!
Snowing cherry blossoms!
 I could not help myself!
Fried sparrow, yummy!
Anyone up for shark?
It was a great day! When we headed back to the bus, there was a HUGE line, about a 2 hour wait to get on the bus, they were not kidding when they said millions attend this festival. Luckily, we had a few Koreans with us and navigated us to the front of the line to board the bus once again as standing room only. Better than the alternative, waiting for 2 hours for a seat and then taking a hour bus back. The cherry blossoms were gorgeous but probably won't last due to the high winds around here so we were happy to see them when we did!
