Boys Town Orphanage

Boys Town is an orphanage in Busan that has over 500 boys and some girls too. Every Saturday a group of volunteers go and play with the kids. One group takes the older boys and play basketball and the other takes a group of the younger boys! Today, Elissa teacher taught us all about the weather!
First, we made groovy sunglasses! This boy was a little ham and was obsessed with my camera!
Cool rainbow shades! He was so cute, when Elissa was going over the flash cards he would grab my hand and want me to tell him the answer so he could shout it out in English. We had a lot of fun!

Jazzy pink shades!
Cute!

Game time! The kids had to race to a pile of clothes and dress up according to the weather. They had a ton of fun!
Windy and cold!
Sunny! They were so funny trying to get these huge shorts on. They looked like little thugs.

Rainy! Check out those rain boots!
At the end we gave all the kids snacks. We had tons and tons of snacks. They don't get sweets much so they go crazy for this stuff. This little guy was hoarding his goodies and even stashing some candies in his pockets! Smart thinking!
Cute, cute kids! Just breaks my heart every time that these kids don't have a family but they have each other and to be honest they sure seem happy, bless their little hearts! The staff all seem to be really good to them and they have a really nice facility where they live. I am glad that we can spend the day putting smiles on their faces!
