Life in Busan

Okay, so posting pictures and updates from even a week or two ago makes me antsy let alone posting from a month ago. It is making me crazy and I just want to get my blog up and running so I can move on with my updates and blog regularly so I can have a complete journey of our adventure. I don't like being stuck in the past! It is my obsessive side coming out; I want it to be perfect before I share it, but what is it I am striving for? Since that might be awhile I decided to go ahead and sum up the last month so I can get it off my back and start fresh.

We have spent that past month getting settled and acclimated to our new surroundings. It has been an interesting, fun and exciting adjustment. I am really enjoying teaching, the children are all so eager to learn English so it makes teaching really fun! We have hit about half of the top 10 must see sites of Busan over that past few weeks. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to and where I teach!

Dasun Elementary School- Where I teach!
Beomosa Temple
Jagalchi Fish Market
Jagalchi Fish Market- Octopus on the loose!
Korean Traditional Clothes- Justin and I were interview by Korean Broadcasting station about our thoughts on traditional Koran clothing. I think they were hoping for a bit more of a reaction. I just could not get that excited but it was really neat to see as we were strolling on the beach.
Gwangali Beach and bridge.
Busan Tower- the place three places I have lived have had a similar structure- Seattle Space Needle and the Stratosphere is Las Vegas!
View from the tower. This is the view you will see when you google images of Busan.
English Classroom
Hike near our beach. Beautiful views.
One of our first times going out to eat. We learned very quickly that not too many people speak English in our area. Ordering can be a bit challenging if there are not any pictures. We end up pointing at what someone else is having and keep our figures crossed that it would be tasty, and it was!
