The weekend!

Saturday we ventured over to Haeundae Beach to get our Japan rail passes, go to the beach, Costco (for the final time) and Indian food. We decided to take the 1001 bus and it cut the travel time down by 30 minutes. I would much rather take the bus so I can gaze out the window, especially on nice sunny day!
Street food in Hadan. Looks like soju is on the menu! We have never stopped at one of these but they are everywhere and usually sell an assortment of fried goodies! I also think she was roasting sweet potatoes which are a popular winter snack.
Haeundae Beach! Seriously, what is this guy thinking, it is freezing outside. He and his buddy were there the last time we were at the beach months ago. This must be some sort of routine of theirs!
Beautiful day at the beach!
US!

The flying rats were thick! This guy kept feeding them shrimp chips. I thought for sure we would end up with a white splat.
I have been dying to get a picture of the beetles and snails they eat but have been scared because I watched a girl get chewed out one time for taking a photo. But I managed to get one, it is not all that clear but if I would have gotten much closer I would have passed out from the nasty smell. Anyways, they order these up in dixie cups and suck the snails right out of the shell and chomps those beetles down using a toothpick! YUMMY, YUMMY! I know you are dying to try some!
The highlight of the day was going to Namaste the Taste of India. It was sooooo GOOD or at least in comparison to Korean food! Which Korean food is not bad, it is just that we are burnt out! It had such amazing flavor, the tandoori chicken was killer. We have had two treats this week, on Wednesday we went with our friend Rachel to Moroccan food. She actually lived in Morocco for a few years in the peace corp. and speaks Arabic. She randomly met a Moroccan lady that lives in Gimhae that is married to a Korean man. It was a really cool experience and she knows how to make a delicious meal.
Randomly as we were wondering the back alleys around Costco trying to find the subway we stumbled into a bar called something along the lines of "Western Bar Chicken" and they had an Oregon license plate hanging on the side! Had to get a pic! Poor Justin, I thought that the subway was much closer and he was hauling the Costco bag but after walking for nearly an hour we ended up getting a cab!
